VariBlend has announced the addition of a new, 30ml PET bottle designed for on-the-go beauty and healthcare products, particularly in the skin care market.
 
The bottle, made by global manufacturer Sonoco, integrates seamlessly with the VariBlend 40mm dispenser and incorporates a new, secure locking design for optimal product integrity, which is particularly appealing with packaging where there is no wrap-around label. The company also offers a non-airless 50ml HDPE and 20ml airless container with their 40ml dispenser.
 
“Our new 30ml bottle is a key addition to the range, given the tremendous worldwide potential in market segments such as skin care,” said Robert Brands, president and CEO of VariBlend. Brands noted that according to Statista.com, the global skin care market for 2015 is estimated at $121 billion and is projected to rise to $147 billion in 2020.
 
Variblend’s patented custom-blending technology relies on its six-position, custom-blending dispenser design. The company says the dispenser is appealing to brand owners in a variety of “ ‘regimen-based’ product categories that deliver a different multi-element formula over time.”  Such categories include skin care, sunless tanning, hair care or whenever product requires ingredient separation or needs precise mixing and blending at the moment of application.
